Life is a miracle beyond our comprehension, and we should revere it even when we have to struggle against it. ~ Rachel Carson

Waves washing up on an Oregon coast beach.Adventure Learning’s mission is to foster growth and to enhance the well-being of children and families through enjoyable, nature-based, active learning experiences. We believe that the foundation of a sustainable society requires that children learn resilience, cooperation, self-confidence, and the connection between our everyday lives and the natural world.

The summer is already starting to fill up. Last summer all of our trips filled, so you want to register early to get your spot. The Bruneau Dunes trip is new this year, scouted last year. We have fewer camps this summer because we have more non-profit groups contracting with us than ever before. This summer we are working with Synergy Works! again, as well as with HOIST, the University of Idaho’s Native American Studies Department’s Upward Bound Program.

Our new site is still under construction, but we wanted to start using it anyway. There are some dead-ends still (a big website no-no, but we’re just so excited to start using our new site), and some sections that still need to be fleshed out. Please bear with us as we continue to work on the site, and hopefully it will soon be finished! If you have any questions or suggestions, please email the webmaster.
